The architect behind the teams
AI converges to the average. Most recruitment processes do, too.

After leading global recruitment teams for over a decade, Matt Reaney founded reaney.ai to solve a specific problem in the market: Signal vs. Noise.

As AI tools lower the barrier to entry for coding, the market is flooded with "average" capability. Traditional recruitment – relied upon for keyword matching and database mining – can no longer distinguish between an engineer who used a library and one who architected it.

reaney.ai was built to close that gap.
We operate a Technical Assurance model. We don't rely on recruiters to vet High-Level AI Leadership. We utilize an Industry Advisory Panel of C-Suite operators (Global Logistics MDs, Tech Leaders and Founders) to technically stress-test candidates before they reach your desk.

"Recruiters straddle a thin line between 'pushy' and 'persistent'. Context and chemistry determine which side you fall on."

The track record
Matt Reaney hasn't just filled vacancies; he's overseen the delivery of the core engineering teams at:
-
Apprente (Acquired by IBM Watson)
-
Headroom (Acquired by Upwork)
Today, he applies this "Day Zero" mindset to global corporates and logistics giants undergoing AI transformation.

OUR PHILOSOPHY: "We don't do databases. We provide talent that can actually do the job."
